Ecoatex Plus can be used to remove synthetic and water-dilutable alkyd resin systems, chlorinated rubber paints, hybrid systems, dispersion paints,    polyurethane alkyds, varnishes and decorative plasters and certain types of glue.

Ecoatex Plus has been tested by a major paint brand and has emerged as the best alternative to methylene chloride stripper: On alkyd paint (stairs paint): apply  once and this product will strip off 6 layers overnight.

Dispersion paint (concrete paint): up to 5 layers of paint have been stripped off under the same conditions.

The paintability is also described as perfect.
